Commission Procedure and Fees:
Pricing and fees available upon request
To prepare for a commission, Cora discovers the essence of the subject through conversation, observation, sketches and photographic references.
For portraits, she wants to consider her subject as well as her client. Therefore, it is best to meet in their environment, where they are most comfortable.
For large scale paintings and projects, worksite discovery and documentation are imperative.
Scheduling is discussed during the interview visit and consultation. A 50% deposit is required to initiate the commission. Design and study sketches, progress updates and completed works can photographed and emailed during the commission process and upon work completion. Final payment is due upon completion approval and if necessary, prior to shipping.
The artist’s travel expenses and any shipping expenses are the client’s responsibility. Every effort will be made to select the most reasonably priced option.
Cora Wooley Waterhouse retains copyright to all works and reproductions. Reproduction permission must be obtained from the artist.
